The 34th exhibition of handcrafted pottery in Cutrofiano (Lecce) was important for SDW to introduce in Salento its collections: “Della Principessa” vases, “Un’idea di gemelli” and “Abbraccio” jars.

In his booth, Fernando Longo presented the installation Tradizione o Tradizionalismo? (Tradition or Traditionalism?). The installation had playful and sarcastic elements at the same time to send a strong message to the pottery masters and craftsmen - often too passively bound to the tradition. Tradizione o tradizionalismo? is an embrace to local tradition, but also and especially a stimulus to renovate the tradition itself.
